Calendar integration and attendee matching
Context makes meeting notes valuable. Oyma integrates directly with macOS Calendar via Apple’s native EventKit framework to automatically match active conference calls with scheduled calendar events.
How EventKit calendar matching works
When you start recording or when Oyma detects an active conference app (such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams), it queries macOS Calendar:
- Time Window Matching: Searches for events scheduled within ±15 minutes of the current time.
- Metadata Extraction: Reads event title, start/end time, meeting location/URL, organizer, and participant list.
- Note Pre-Population: Creates a new meeting document pre-filled with attendee wikilinks and agenda notes.
