Our release philosophy and architecture

Unlike cloud-based SaaS notetakers that deploy silent server-side updates, Oyma is an application that runs directly on your macOS hardware. When you update the app, new binaries execute locally with full cryptographic code signing and Apple notarization.

We follow semantic versioning. Major releases deliver structural architectural milestones, minor releases introduce verified features and on-device model optimizations, and patch releases address performance edge cases. Your notes always remain standard CommonMark files on your disk.
