# Sample Vault Manifest

This manifest documents the files in the reference sample vault used by the Vault Health Inspector.
It includes valid links, intentional broken links, heading anchors, ambiguous targets, and code block examples.

## Inventory (9 files)

1. `Index.md`: Root dashboard linking to projects, daily notes, and attachments.
   - Valid link: `[[Daily/2026-10-07]]`
   - Ambiguous short target: `[[Overview]]` (exists in both `Projects/` and `Archive/`)
   - Missing heading: `[[Projects/Alpha#Budget]]` (note exists, but heading `Budget` does not)
   - Valid attachment embed: `![[Attachments/chart.svg]]`
2. `Daily/2026-10-07.md`: Daily journal entry with valid links to `[[Projects/Alpha]]` and `[[Meeting Notes]]`.
3. `Projects/Overview.md`: Active project index.
4. `Archive/Overview.md`: Archived historical overview. Having both creates an ambiguous target when linked simply as `[[Overview]]`.
5. `Projects/Alpha.md`: Project details containing `# Status` (valid target) but omitting `# Budget`.
6. `Guides/Syntax.md`: Reference guide with fenced code blocks. Link syntax inside code blocks is ignored and never flagged.
7. `Meeting Notes.md`: Discussion notes containing a broken markdown link to `[2027 Roadmap](Roadmap 2027.md)`.
8. `Summary.md`: Executive briefing embedding an unresolved image `![[wireframe-v1.png]]`.
9. `Attachments/chart.svg`: SVG graphic file satisfying the embed from `Index.md`.

Every issue detected in the sample report can be reproduced deterministically with the inspector engine.
